Making a movie ? and leg space for two

looks like a movie set, but maybe just a comersial? anyways.. caos all the way to the gate
train tracks.
The sun was going down outside, as we were waiting for permission to leave the airport... we had to wait 20 minutes or so, that is alot considering that we were the only plane leaving (or close to it), the airport was pretty empty.
But, since I can snatched the emergency exit seat, and had lots and lots of leg space, I could not but complain. I had a good audio book on my ipod, and candy and water in my bag (not really according to air asia policy, but no one complained).

More famous peope arriving (2)

Tons of army dudes standing in parade outside the departure area (one floor down from me), what is going on? seems some important person is going somewhere...

Here is the guy now, just entering the airport (if you know who it is, let me know with a comment :) ) After checkin I had to walk trough the new shopping area (tax free and stuff), but it was all caos, and nothing was open. (lucky I had prepared for that and brought with me all I neded).

New Airport (and famous people1)

Went to Singapore, and used the New Airport in Bangkok (before it is even open properly)
And there were some important/famous(?) people there... here the pres is running to catch up..

Then they all gathered in a big bunch in front of the nice black car...

and off they went... with lots of cars in front and behind (police cars and otherwise)...

Soo much fun! (well not really, but why not blog)

More Army Dudes in the Streets (Friday afternoon)

On the way home from work, I stoped on a Red light (Asoke, Sukhumvit), and I took some pictures of the army around that area.
Can not see the really big gun, as it is hidden behind the people and other crap.... but it is there.

This is actually the same army dude as in the first picture, he was just walking around. Today on the way home from the HASH, we noticed that we have army dudes, and an Army car in 'our' intersection also (Rama4, Chuaploegn rd).... this is almost like those NATO exercised I used to love so much in the north of Norway. only difference is: This is REAL, people give THEM candy (not the other way around like in Norway), and it is REAL. Posted by Picasa

Post Crisis Hash

Neung biking along, enjoying the hot sun etc.

Nice Rubber Trees, so I just had to take a picture... according to Neung

Here we are a bit lost (again), but soon after we managed to solve this check, with the help of some modern technologies, and good (?) common sense.

This is just before we got REALY REALY lost.. in fact we got sooo lost, after som bad directions from a local, that we had to GPS out way home... it was getting dark, so we stayed ON ROAD, which was popular among the Thais (Neung of course). Posted by Picasa
